There are more than 20 blogs here for sure. These dont have to be tackled in order, but its comprehensive. Looks like a book. Stick around and see what it looks like in real time. Things will be added for sure. For me, this involves a lot of family. That isnt in the outline, but it permeates the process in every way. Also, most people dont do this as a career. Honestly, it isnt profitable for most farmers. It needs subsidy, constantly.
The learning carries a cost. When you are rushing to the Science Fair and come home to a flock decimated by a predator because your coop was left open; or a heat lamp bulb goes out overnight and 45 of 100 chicks are now dead in the brooder, you will feel the cost of education. Natural processes can work for you in amazing ways, they can also crush your soul as you learn that sometimes there is no margin for error.
